Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of commercial clients delivering expert advice and tailored insurance solutions

  • Actively generate and close new business through innovative prospecting and lead generation strategies

  • Retain and grow existing client relationships by providing proactive service and consistent communication

  • Negotiate coverage terms premiums and conditions with underwriters to achieve the best results for your clients

  • Collaborate with internal departments including underwriting and claims to ensure a seamless client experience

Who Were Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • RIBO License in good standing

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial lines at a brokerage or insurance company

  • Proven experience in B2B sales and client relationship management

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel)

  • Experience with Power Broker or Applied Systems is an asset

Key Competencies:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong ability to generate pursue and close new business leads

  • Highly organized with exceptional time management abilities

  • Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
