As a member of our Print Section the main purpose of your role is to externally coat and decorate the can according to the required specification.
The Key responsibilities of the role include
To observe company health safety and environmental regulations at all times.
To comply with BRC requirements at all times
To set and run the printing lineTo prepare materials required for the next job on the programme and ensure they are in good orderTo isolate any non-conforming product and report to Shift manager and QCTo hand over to the on-coming Print Operative and inform him/her and Shift Manager of the state of the lineTo communicate effectively with other team members.
To minimise waste and maintain a clean and tidy work place.
To maintain accurate records according to Ball Aerosol requirements.
To carry out any other work or duties as the workload so requires
This role is working a rotating shift pattern which includes days nights and weekends. The shift pattern is 4 weeks on days (6am - 6pm) and 4 weeks on nights (6pm - 6am).
Working shift rotations are
Week 1 - Mon / Tues / Fri / Sat / Sun
Week 2 - Wed / Thurs
Starting Salary 28k - 30k plus 22.5% Shift Premium depending on experience
