Job Description
Job Details:
- Location: Beverly MA 01915
- Duration: 13-week
- Shift: Day Shift (8)-8:00 start
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2600 - $2800
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer chemotherapy and other oncology treatments per provider orders and established protocols.
- Monitor patients for side effects and adverse reactions during and after infusion.
- Document patient care accurately and promptly in the EMR system.
- Provide education and emotional support to oncology patients and their families.
- Maintain infection control standards and ensure patient safety at all times.
- Collaborate closely with oncologists pharmacists and support staff to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
- Participate in staff meetings training and quality improvement initiatives.
Experience & Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of recent oncology nursing experience required.
- Active MA License-Required
- Prior experience with infusion therapy.
- Proficient in IV therapy central line access and chemotherapy administration.
- Strong clinical judgment communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications:
- ONC Certification or Biotherapy Card-Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification-AHA approved (Required)
