Job Details
The successful candidate will teach 12 credits in each of two semesters in mathematics at both the introductory and advanced levels within the General Education curriculum as required by various University science engineering and design majors. The successful candidate will participate in service at the program college and/or university level and contribute to course assessment as needed under direction of course or program coordinator. Participation in College faculty meetings is required.Job Description
Qualifications:
Education Required: Applicants must have at least a masters degree in mathematics or math pedagogy or a closely related discipline by the employment start date.
Experience teaching mathematics at the University level is required; 3-4 years experience is preferred. Candidates experience should demonstrate an aptitude to engage in a collaborative teaching and learning environment. Strong candidates will demonstrate the ability to apply active student learning pedagogies in the college classroom.
