At a Glance:Our Adjunct Faculty are an integral part of the college and their contributions to student success is valued. Join the Instruction Team and help support student success by teaching the discipline that youre passionate knowledgeable and qualified to teach!

Lower Columbia College is accepting applications for multiple openings. This recruitment will be used to generate a pool of qualified applicants to fill openings as needed throughout the year typically on a quarterly basis (Fall Winter Spring Summer). Positions will be filled as program needs arise. We do have online only opportunities and encourage those interested to apply! Below are rates for the 2025-2026 academic year:

  • Lecture rate is $80.68 per contact hour ($887.48 per credit).
  • Lab rate is $60.08 per contact hour ($1321.76 per credit).
  • Field-based experience rate is $43.64 per contact hour ($1440.16 per credit).
