Job Description Summary

The Production Supervisor - 3rd shift will manage the daily operations of CMC plant to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. The chosen applicant will provide leadership fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teaming to meet all safety quality delivery cost and performance goals for the products. The 3rd shift hours are 10:45 pm - 7:00 am.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage front-line manufacturing employees in a safety-first culture
  • Ensure operational alignment with production plan and communicates priorities project status and metrics to their team
  • Work on cross-functional projects / teams to improve metrics safety shop efficiency and delivery for the business
  • Analyze data to identify issues or areas for improvement
  • Facilitate and motivate the hourly workforce by setting clear expectations on production output EHS compliance and quality workmanshipof assigned job allocations
  • Investigate and owns improvement efforts to address production constraints
  • Develop new solutions under guidance and/ or in a team setting
  • Encourage an environment of continuous improvement and team member development
  • Ensure fair and consistent application of company and departmental policies and practices
  • This is a 3rd shift team lead position; therefore a night shift bonus will be included.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years supervisory experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university/college and a minimum of 2 years direct supervisory experience (any industry) or 4 years manufacturing experience with a minimum of 3 of those years in direct supervisory role

  • In-depth understanding and hands on experience with Microsoft office and ERP systems
