Job Description
Product Development Engineer
At Seco Tools we combine innovation with expertise to develop high-performance cutting tools for the global manufacturing industry. We are currently looking for a Product Development Engineerto join our R&D team and contribute to the next generation of solid carbide drills (VHM).
Your mission
As a member of our international R&D team you will be responsible for:
Designing new geometries and features for solid carbide drills
Conducting performance testing and analyzing cutting results
Participating in R&D projects from concept to industrialization
Collaborating with internal departments (application engineering coating manufacturing)
Creating and maintaining technical documentation
Supporting customer applications and providing technical insights
Traveling occasionally to customers and R&D sites worldwide.
Your profile
We are looking for a solution-oriented engineer who enjoys combining creativity with technical depth. You should have:
A university degree in mechanical engineering materials science manufacturing or a related field
Knowledge of cemented carbides PVD coatings and grinding processes
Experience in product development or machining applications (preferable)
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and reading technical drawings
Good command of English; Polish is an advantage
Teamwork mindset problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
