Join Our Supportive School Community
We are a village school in East Bergholt in the heart of Constable Country where we believe every child deserves the strongest possible start. We are looking for a kind reliable and flexible Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our team and work closely with two pupils who need additional support (one to one).
The role involves supporting a five-year-old pupil for three mornings a week. This child benefits from a calm consistent approach and support to engage with learning and daily routines in a low-stimulus nurturing environment.
You will also work for two mornings each week with a ten-year-old pupil who responds well to clear expectations positive encouragement and gentle guidance to stay focused and feel confident in their learning.
We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic who takes pride in being dependable and proactive. You will need to be a positive team player someone who brings warmth discretion and a solution-focused attitude to everything they do. A professional approach and the ability to maintain confidentiality and support a positive staff culture are essential.
Experience supporting children with additional needs is desirable but most important is a patient caring nature and a willingness to learn.
