The Role & The Team
Join Airservices Australia as a National Security Clearance Administration Officer and play a key role in supporting our security processes. Youll work with teams across the organisation as well as government agencies to manage security clearance applications and ensure theyre submitted and maintained correctly. This role supports major programs like OneSKY requiring strong attention to detail good coordination skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a sensitive environment.
What youll do
- You are responsible for handling national security clearance applications by gathering reviewing and submitting them to AGSVA.
- Assist in updating policies and procedures while building strong working relationships across the business
- Support the team during absences and stay updated on security policies and changes within the team.

About you
- Knowledge of the Australian Governments Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) especially in Personnel Security and Governance.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office and a quick learner of systems related to background checks and national security clearances.
- Proven understanding of national security clearance procedures and related AGSVA processes including the myClearance portal.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- A proactive solutions-focused mindset and a collaborative working style
- Must possess or have the ability to hold at a minimum an AGSVA Baseline clearance with possibility of upgrade to Negative Vetting Level (NV1).
- Certificate IV in Government Security (Personnel Vetting) or equivalent is highly desirable.

Security Clearance
To be eligible to apply you must be an Australian Citizen or a Permanent resident andmust possess or have the ability to hold at a minimum an AGSVA Baseline clearance with possibility of upgrade to Negative Vetting Level (NV1).
