Job Description

  • Temporary full-time opportunity to June 2026
  • Salary range $145k - $168k (Clerk Grade 11/12)
  • Maitland preferred however all DPIRD office locations will be considered

The Assessments and Systems branch within NSW Resources is looking for a Manager Business Improvement and Training to support the delivery of business improvement processes and projects focused on supporting the delivery of robust transparent administration of mineral and petroleum exploration and mining in NSW ensuring high levels of customer service.

About the Role

As the Manager Business Improvement and Training you will lead development of business rules and practices support the administration and assessment of exploration and mining authorisations across NSW.

You will be responsible for developing and delivering business improvement projects that are customer focussed and operationally efficient always having regard to legislative requirements and the principles of good decision-making. You will deliver against established timeframes and to a high standard. You will also be responsible for supporting implementation of legislative reforms working closely with other teams to identify emerging operational needs and support a smooth transition to new requirements.
