Job Duties
Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify drawings.
Ensure that drawings are accurate detailed and contain all necessary information for manufacturing.
Provide support to other departments including Manufacturing Quality Control Quoting Sales and others.
Interact and coordinate with team members to ensure the proper design of parts and lead times to complete projects.
Manage documentation and filing systems for drawings and project records.
High school diploma or GED required.
A basic knowledge of CAD software is required; SolidWorks CAD is preferred.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Skilled at rapidly mastering new software methods and procedures
Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel OneNote etc.) is required.
Basic knowledge of the use of standard measuring tools such as scales micrometers calipers etc. is required.
A background in manual machining CNC machining or programming is a plus.
