Job Description

Employer: Services LLC
Position: Tax Analyst II
Location: Seattle WA

Multiple Positions Available:

and extract relevant financial and quantitative data from various back-end source systems in order to provide sophisticated financial analysis and validate accuracy of extracted
data to support the development and execution of various non-income tax initiatives and ensure data requirements and processes meet tax planning compliance and audit functions.
and/or review monthly quarterly and annual indirect tax filings including but not limited to sales tax use tax gross receipts tax WA business & occupation tax unclaimed
property regulatory fees and similar taxes.
and generate use tax accruals and other indirect tax accruals.
with economic incentive reporting requirements.
and implement process improvements across the entire state and local indirect tax compliance.
compliance with state and local indirect tax laws and regulations.
business requirements business rules data classifications user acceptance and data compliance mapping documents for a transactional database.
transactional level data to determine root-cause issues affecting data quality and compliance return mapping.
others apply business context to provide broader understanding of policies practices systems and procedures for end-to-end processes.
processes for data collection that are scalable and auditable; identify data requirements during process design.
maintain and test required internal controls; remediate issues. Identify articulate and escalate potential gaps for internal controls within their scope; propose control
changes to remediate gaps.
in identifying communicating documenting and driving resolution of issues changing tax positions and tax-related business enhancements across the tax organization and
businesses.
guidance based on research of transaction tax laws and regulations using RIA Checkpoint and other resources and document and present advanced tax concepts and
propose conclusions; deliver concise analysis and corresponding narratives to key stakeholders.
various deliverables to support both internal and external financial reporting and processing needs and account analysis in order to achieve business goals.


A Masters degree or foreign equivalent degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration/Management Project Management or related field and 2 years of experience in tax
analysis financial analysis or accounting.
In the alternative a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration/Management Project Management or related field followed by 5 years
of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in tax analysis financial analysis or accounting.
Experience must include:
1. 2 years of accounting experience in Oracle or other financial accounting systems.
2. 2 years of experience performing routine and ad hoc data analysis by utilizing Oracle financial applications advanced MS Excel OBIEE Essbase advanced MS Access SQL or related
finance management/data mining tools.
3. 2 years of experience researching and analyzing taxation obligations and requirements for the cloud computing business.
4. 2 years of experience using tax software and financial accounting systems to perform the reconciliation of transaction tax general ledger accounts and entering further accounting
journal entries.

The pay range for this position inSeattle WA is $85862 - $112300 (yr); however base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits dependent on the position offered.
