Are you ready to take your logistics career to the next level Collins Aerospace is looking for a Materials Associate III in Miramar FL. As a Material Associate youll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of materials. Your expertise will be crucial in setting up packing and transporting these materials with precision and care.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform functions in receiving customer product reviewing POs and documents and creating service notifications.
  • Perform packing and preparing documents such as commercial and military pack slips bill of landing and any other shipping document required while following export control guidelines.
  • Prepare items for shipping or delivery according to customer specifications.
  • Receive and open customer product
  • Checks receipts against purchases order for proper shipment shortages damages or defects.
  • Operate crane hoist or power truck to move materials.
  • Assembles orders checks against shipping or customers order and reports shortages and incomplete orders.
  • Stacks shipment on skids and takes shipment to shipping dock.
  • Receives and unpacks materials and supplies.
  • Keeps equipment and surrounding areas neat and clean.
  • Operate crane hoist or power truck to move materials.
  • Must be able to work AOG duties according to business needs.
  • Must be able to work extra hours to meet business demands.
  • 1st Shift: 7am to 3:30om Monday to Friday

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer

  • SAP experience
  • Warehouse stockroom and or shipping experience.
