Job Description
MED-Star Ambulance is a family owned and operated 911 EMS and Inter facility transport service located in Brandon S.D.
We are currently seeking dispatchers both full and part-time.
This position requires the ability to work all shifts during various hours including nights weekends and holidays. Standard work week is 36 hours full time and 12-36 hours part time.
Position Summary: MED-Star Ambulance dispatchers serve as the first point of contact for requesting entities who are seeking assistance with their emergency non-emergency and service request calls.
After receiving a call the dispatcher must establish the nature and location of call(s) determine its priority and dispatch the appropriate EMS Transport unit.
