Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at ATC Healthcare. In this role you will play a vital part in performing cardiac catheterizations and assisting with diagnostic evaluations in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise will contribute significantly to patient care and outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac catheterizations and assist with interventional procedures.
- Monitor patients vital signs and provide immediate care as needed during procedures.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and collaborate with physicians on treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards in the cath lab environment.
- Assist in training and mentoring new staff members as required.
Requirements
- Certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of cardiology and cardiac catheterization techniques.
- Experience working in a Level I or Level II trauma center is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with medical staff.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
