Designs you develop today will hit the factory floor tomorrow delivering a direct impact on reshaping critical manufacturing capabilities in the US.
Design implement and maintain mechatronic systems including PLCs microcontrollers and motor controllers
Develop test plans perform debugging and drive root-cause analysis for production and prototype systems
Work cross-functionally with manufacturing mechanical and software engineers to rapidly iterate designs
Own projects end-to-end from requirements gathering through to release and field support
Proactively identify and solve technical challenges in a high-urgency high-accountability environment
24 years of experience in mechatronics controls engineering robotics or closely related fields
Strong proficiency in PLCs microcontrollers and motor controllers
Solid track record of debugging and solving complex engineering problems
Comfortable working hands-on in a manufacturing or lab setting
Demonstrated ownership of processes or systems (end-to-end delivery)
Proactive mindset a bias for action and willingness to step outside your lane to get things done
Experience in high-growth hardware environments (e.g. advanced robotics startups aerospace newspace companies etc.)
Familiarity with casting metal manufacturing or industrial-scale automation systems
