Job Description

REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERENCES

The Broward County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified candidates for Property Manager.



- Demonstrated ability to perform highest and best use (or comparable feasibility/valuation) analyses for real property assets.
- Masters degree in Public/Business Administration Real Estate Property Management or related field
- Certified Property Manager (CPM)
- Real Property Administrator (RPA)
- Accredited Land Consultant (ALC)
- AAPA Professional Port Manager certification
- Certified Project Manager (CPM) certification
- 4 years experience related the public sector business project management experience
- 1 years experience using Klein or related real estate software
- 1 years experience preparing public sector Agenda items for property issues using Agenda Quick or an equivalent program.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Administer Port Everglades real estate portfolio in alignment with best and highest use principles leveraging Port-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to optimize land use maximize revenue and economic development potential and support long-term strategic objectives.

Ports main point of contact for tenant communications.

Conduct manage and/or participate in the lease process with tenants either as the lead or as part of a team.

Preparation of Board agenda items.

Coordinates and participates on teams for frequent activities involving multiple divisions

Completes or oversees the entry of all real estate agreements and the monthly processing of the rent roll variance reporting and quarterly reports to the Port Finance Division and the Board of County Commissioners.

Performs related work as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Performs sedentary work that involves walking or standing some of the time and involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a regular and recurring basis or sustained keyboard operations.
