Job Description

Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group Department of Anesthesiology Division of Pediatrics is currently seeking a board eligible/board certified Anesthesiologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Per Diem Pediatric Anesthesiologist you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment alongside talented colleagues committed to providing exceptional patient care.

The Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology provides care for approximately 11000 children in a variety of clinical settings including childrens hospital operating rooms interventional cardiology/radiology MRI CT scan radiation oncology and a GI suite. The pediatric cardiac anesthesia team does more than 200 complex cardiac cases each year including heart transplants. There is an established pediatric fellowship training program and a robust residency program.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  • Monitor Patients before during and after anesthesia administration.
  • Collaborate with surgeons nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.


Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology.
  • Valid state medical license.
  • Active DEA registration in California.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $300- $350per hour. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans. More information on compensation is discussed with the departments during the recruitment process.
