We are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to work full-time for our NHS client based in Aldershot Surrey. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start.
What will your responsibilities be
This role involves working within a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) providing specialist psychiatric care to children and adolescents. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments formulating and overseeing treatment plans and offering clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team. The postholder will also participate in clinical meetings liaise with families and external agencies and ensure documentation is maintained in accordance with NHS standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
GMC registration (essential)
Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status (essential)
Inclusion on the Specialist Register with a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (essential)
Experience in CAMHS and community-based mental health services
Strong leadership communication and clinical skills
A commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centred care
