What Youll Be Doing
The Senior Associate Private Banking provides support to one or more Private Banking Advisor teams. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide exceptional service to Private Banking clients by assisting them with their transactional banking needs and respond to their queries. The employee will promote and sell CIBC products and services to clients and assist clients with their overall banking needs including lending borrowing investing or commercial lending in nature.
During your internship you will: Engage and support various client transactions gaining understanding of day to transactions of our clients. Support Private Bankers by working closely with an experienced team to support their daily activities. This may include preparing client presentations responding to clients verbally and in writing and analyzing financial data to help inform decision-making. Observe and learn from seasoned bankers as they interact with clients and manage their portfolios. This will give you a deeper understanding of client relationship management and the importance of personalized service in private banking.
CIBC Private Banking offers personalized financial solutions and wealth management services to high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience by rotating through various functions within the Private Banking division.
