The Nurse Unit Manager is a key leadership position in our Cancer Services providing leadership to the CDU nursing team including SURC Apheresis and the role is integral to ensuring staff patient safety and wellbeing. The CDU NUM will promote the professional standards of nursing practice while managing the operational resources of the chemotherapy day unit.
Classifications for this position will range from NM11 - NM12 ($126074 - $130509.60 per annum pro rata)

About the Department
The Chemotherapy Day Unit (CDU) is a fast paced dynamic environment providing treatment to patients with cancer. As a 21 chair outpatient department the CDU also encompasses the Apheresis Unit Symptom Urgent Review Clinic (SURC) and Cancer Care at Home () programs. Across all of these programs there is more than 11000 episodes of care each year .
