Job Summary
Position Title: Registered Nurse Intensive Care Unit
Location: Hyannis MA
Job Type: Contract Local or Travel
Shift: Night (12.5 hours 3 days)
Duration: 13-Week Assignment
Weekly Pay: $2200 to $2634
Position Overview:

Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive patient care through assessment planning implementation and evaluation.
Administer and monitor patient medications and respond to patient conditions.
Direct and supervise patient care activities and ancillary staff.
Maintain accurate timely patient documentation and records.
Communicate patient care plans effectively to healthcare team members.
Serve as charge nurse and resource person for staff orientation and teaching.
Utilize computerized nursing informatics systems proficiently.
Participate in quality assurance patient safety and policy adherence.
Maintain ongoing professional development and clinical skills.
Represent the hospital professionally while maintaining patient and hospital confidentiality.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
Passed CCHC Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia exams.
Prior critical care experience mandatory.
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification.
Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) certification.
Completion of approved De-escalation Certification Course.
Skills in hemodynamic monitoring ventilator care and intracranial pressure monitoring.
