As a Systems Administrator you will play a pivotal role in architecting implementing and maintaining our global end-user computing environment. Youll focus on delivering robust secure and scalable solutions that encompass endpoint operating systems mobile devices cloud-based services and SaaS applications. A key aspect of this role is the packaging deployment and lifecycle management of software as well as the administration of virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) platforms. You will collaborate closely with a forward-thinking team dedicated to leveraging emerging technologies and delivering high-quality user-centric IT solutions.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Software Packaging & Deployment:
- Package test and deploy Windows-based applications through Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM) and cloud-based solutions.
- Manage MacOS application packaging and deployment leveraging JAMF.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish application packaging standards streamline deployment processes and maintain application compliance.
Incident Problem & Lifecycle Management:
- Manage incident and problem tickets related to end-user architecture providing prompt resolution and communication to stakeholders.
- Conduct lifecycle management and QA testing for key productivity tools hardware and services ensuring compatibility security and performance standards.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
- Contribute to the evaluation selection and adoption of new technologies ensuring alignment with architectural guidelines and strategic business objectives.
- Stay current with emerging end-user computing trends tools and best practices applying this knowledge to drive innovation and process optimization.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
- 1 to 3 years of related professional experience as outlined below:
- Technical Expertise: experience with enterprise endpoint technologies including Windows 10/11 Microsoft Endpoint Manager Azure Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Software Packaging & Deployment: Hands-on experience packaging Windows applications using Endpoint Manager (SCCM) and Intune. Proficiency with JAMF for MacOS administration and application distribution.
- Automation & Scripting: Strong scripting skills (e.g. PowerShell VBScript) for automating tasks and streamlining configuration management. Familiarity with modern CI/CD methodologies for continuous application delivery is a plus.
- Communication & Problem-Solving: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated aptitude for troubleshooting root cause analysis and stakeholder collaboration.
