Makes optimal use of available technology to enhance instructional methods.
Develops/maintains course outlines syllabi lesson plans assignments tests and materials. Maintains accurate student records grades and other requirements.
Engages with students in meaningful and productive ways that impact student learning and leads to a positive experience with Ivy Tech Community College shows evidence of developing and implementing active classroom teaching strategies focused on engaging students with their learning (curricular).
Interacts with students and co-workers in a professional and cooperative manner complies with College policies campus guidelines and expectations.
Ensures knowledge of and implements emergency and safety procedures for classrooms labs and all learning environments.

All responsibilities will be conducted within the parameters of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) other applicable regulatory requirements and professional standards.
A qualified candidate in information technology operations must meet two or more of the following criteria to teach as an adjunct:
1. Possesses an earned bachelors degree from a regionally accredited institution in an information technology field as appropriate to the program with documentation in one or more of the following:
2. Possesses an earned out-of-field bachelors degree from a regionally accredited institution with documentation in two or more of the following:
Other Requirements (dependent upon program and classes): Any one or more certifications from the following list: CompTIA Security CISSP CASP CEH GIAC Security Essentials CompTIA A CompTIA Network CompTIA Linux CWNPs Certified Wireless Network Administration certification CWNPs Certified Wireless Network Professional certification or is a current Cisco Academy Instructor with the Wireless course qualifications Cisco CCNA or higher.
A qualified candidate to teach SDEV 120- Computing Logic and SDEV 140 Intro o Software Development must meet two or more of the following criteria:
1. Possesses an earned out-of-field bachelors degree from a regionally accredited institution with documentation in two or more of the following:
Specific hours will depend on classes assigned but may include evenings.
$45.50 per contact hour
