Job Description:
This position is responsible for establishing operational bridge maintenance and preservation policies and assuring statewide conformance to these once establisted. This position will be responsible for leading and mentoring the Bridge TOMS in developing maintenance work activities. This position will also visit maintenance projects to ensure proper construction practices assure safety and troubleshooting construction challenges. The incumbent will work with members of the capital bridge and highway programs to develop bridge maintenance and preservation projects. This position will work with the Bridge Maintenance Engineering team to develop in-house constructable bridge maintenance and preservation projects.
To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must provide evidence ofthe following experience:
A ten (10) year combination of education training and/or experience in maintenance construction fleet management safety and budget to include at least four (4) years of managerial experience.
