Nurse Unit Manager to join Mitcham Private Hospitals leadership team!
About the Role
Our 6-bed Early Parenting Centre offers a unique opportunity for a Nurse Unit Manager to lead our specialised unit providing care for infants aged 8 weeks to 12 months. This role involves supporting sleep and settling techniques in collaboration with a dedicated multidisciplinary team.
The successful candidate will oversee a team of Enrolled Registered nurses and midwives assisting with the daily management of 5-night inpatient program for sleep and settling.

Your Skills and Experience
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse / Midwife
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in a leadership or management nursing role
- Recent paediatric / infant experience essential
- Post-graduate qualifications not required but favourable
- Excellent communication interpersonal and mentorship skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required
Remuneration:
On offer is a base hourly rate of $66.09 superannuation based on experience level and qualifications. Exclusive of penalties and allowances.
