Job Summary:
The Office Assistant position bridges the roles of administrative support and care coordination. This role is vital in supporting both office staff and caregivers by facilitating day-to-day operations communication and scheduling. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented organized and skilled in interpersonal communication with an understanding of the broader goals of home care operations.

Competitive pay: $20$26 per hour paid semimonthly

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for clients caregivers and visitorsmaintaining a warm professional presence
Coordinate and schedule care services based on client needs and preferences
Assist with care coordination tasks and stay informed on current care-related concerns
Support after-hours on-call rotation 12 times per week to assist caregivers
Communicate with clients and families to ensure quality of care and provide guidance
Conduct quality assurance calls and follow-ups with clients
Manage and update office schedules and coverage
Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
Record new client inquiries and schedule follow-ups
Answer high-volume phone calls in a courteous efficient manner
Provide general office support (faxing scanning copying etc.)
Maintain required documentation in compliance with state regulations
Participate in team meetings and contribute updates on client care and concerns
Promptly address client or caregiver issues with professionalism
Stay informed on best practices and trends in the home care industry
Collaborate with the Care Manager to develop and update care plans
Qualifications:
Consistently arrive on time and take accountability for the administrative role.
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
At least 2 years of experience in home care or a related healthcare field preferred
Strong organizational time-management and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Empathetic patient and professional demeanor
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Proficiency in learning and using scheduling or care management software
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Must pass a background check and drug screening
