Class Summary


This is a part-time position with a maximum of 1508 hours per year and is not eligible for paid holidays leave or benefits.

Job Description

The part-time Tennis Center Manager will assist the Program Supervisor with monitoring activities in a variety of areas related to the running of a Tennis Center. In addition this position is responsible for developing and assisting with the newsletter and other promotional materials. It will also be performing various clerical/receptionist duties.

Essential Duties
  • Collecting court and tennis center fees
  • Making change and providing receipts for all incoming monies
  • Balancing receipts
  • Preparing bank deposits
  • Scheduling court rentals and usage for general public tournaments ALTA USTA and high schools
  • Supervising instructors clinics and camps
  • Assisting with court maintenance
  • Providing training to staff
  • Answering phone calls greeting customers and providing information to the general public
Public Speaking Duties
  • Presenting relevant information to attendees during special events workshops and activities
Hourly rate
Salary will be dependent on education and experience.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma AND
  • 3 years of clerical/customer service experience
    • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
  • Drivers License
Preferred Qualifications in addition to the above minimum qualifications
  • Supervisory experience
