About the Role
As we continue to grow were seeking a Technical Lead Manager (TLM) to lead the technical evolution and strategic growth of key areas of our architecture. Youll contribute to our codebase shape our systems and scale high-performing engineering teams.
You Will
- Lead and grow engineering teams fostering a collaborative high-performing team culture.
- Provide architectural oversight and technical direction driving the design and implementation of APIs and services with a focus on functionality reliability and performance.
- Own and actively manage critical systems ensuring high availability and seamless integrations across platforms.
- Lead complex projects from concept to delivery with clear planning prioritization and execution.
- Remain hands-on with the codebase setting strong standards and leading by example.
About You

You Have
- 4-6 years of experience as a backend or fullstack engineer with 2-3 years managing engineering teams ideally in a Java/Kotlin environment.
- A hands-on approach to architecture and system ownership with the ability to coach and mentor direct reports.
- Proven success in leading complex cross-functional projects to completion.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A history of growing teams through thoughtful hiring culture building and technical leadership.
- A passion for mentorship and helping engineers grow.

Base Salary
- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $191000-$259000.
The range displayed on each job posting is based on Nooms estimate as of the date of publication and reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position for US-based candidates. The actual placement of the candidate within the range is based on factors including (but not limited to) relevant experience and training assessment of functional skills and behavioral competencies role scope and location. This range is not inclusive of any discretionary bonus or equity package.

Location
This position is a hybrid role with 2 days a week on-site required in our Princeton NJ office.
