Job Description

In this role youll play a vital part in assisting the Director of Pharmacy with multiple programs within Third Street Family Health Services pharmacy department helping us move forward with purpose and precision. Essential Job Duties:

  • Performs 340B purchasing and utilization audits or compliance assessments internally as needed.
  • Evaluates covered entity compliance at the contract pharmacy covered entity and wholesaler levels.
  • Develops executes and documents self-audits of the 340B process. Coordinates and ensures remediation of findings.
  • Complete pharmacy monitoring audits in relation to patient management prescription management compliance cost savings and others as needed. Ensures appropriate reporting tracking and follow-up occurs after completing any audits
  • Collect and scan required medical documentation from external providers into the electronic medical record as required to ensure program compliance.
  • Use the electronic health record and pharmacy data to track eligibility for the 340B program.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with identified service providers.
  • Ensure that medical record requests uploads and associated documentation are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with medical and non-medical case managers particularly regarding enrollment status and releases of information.
  • Conduct special projects and perform any other related duties as assigned by the 340B Oversight Committee Director of Pharmacy or Compliance Officer.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid drivers license in the state in which pharmacy is located.
  • Pharmacy Technician licensure and National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • 1-2 years of 340B Drug Pricing Program experience in healthcare and/or with a healthcare provider is preferred
  • Experience working in medical or pharmacy setting preferred.
  • Experience reviewing and auditing large data sets.
  • Quality assurance experience such as medical chart reviews preferred.
