Join our team and what well accomplish togetherWe are hiring an Associate/Junior Performance Tester with hands-on experience running or supporting performance tests. In this role youll work with a team of experienced engineers to help ensure our software systems meet scalability and speed expectations before they reach production. This is a great opportunity for someone with QA or automation experience who has already worked with performance testing tools or and is ready to deepen their skillset.
What youll do
Work as a member of the performance testing team for TELUS Health proprietary software to meet the requirements of our new and existing clients.
Execute performance and load tests on TELUS Healths proprietary applications
Write and maintain scripts in tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
Monitor system performance review logs and assist with root cause analysis
Support configuration and maintenance of test environments
Collaborate with DevSecOps and development teams to troubleshoot performance issues
Contribute to performance test reports with clear analysis and recommendations
Participate in internal knowledge-sharing and upskilling initiatives
Assist with special projects and other tasks as required.
What you bring
U.S. citizen and resident (due to security clearance requirements)
Post-secondary degree or diploma in an information technology related field.
At least 1 year of hands-on experience in QA or performance testing (employment internship or contract)
Nice to Have
Familiarity with APM tools (e.g. Datadog AppInsights New Relic)
Exposure to cloud services (AWS Azure or GCP)
Understanding of modern application and infrastructure concepts (containers microservices)
Professional reliable and eager to learn
