QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Masters degree with PA certification of Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction / or Principal K-12 along with Math certification.
- Possesses knowledge of current trends in curriculum development instructional practices and assessment; excellent communication and human relation skills; strong organizational skills; possesses a multi-disciplinary perspective and has a background in technologies use in curriculum assessment and data collection and analysis.
- Insures that the curriculum is aligned with academic standards with regional state and national benchmarks in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Supervises and ensures compliance issues for all district state and federal programs assigned to this position
- Serves as an educational leader and resource person in curriculum development and programming for all Math Technology and Business Education.
- Coordinates with the Director of Curriculum and Instruction staff development opportunities for all Math Technology and Business Education.
- Recommends develops and assists with implementation of new and innovative programs.
- Collaborates with the building principals for curriculum concerns in areas of responsibility.
- Provides direction and support to parents and faculty in developing instructional strategies to meet the students academic and individual needs.
- Supervision instruction and evaluation of staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Curriculum and Instruction.
