The Global Trade Services (GTS) Customs Valuation Data and Duty Strategy Team is responsible for customs valuation governance and customs duty optimization across the Stores Devices & Others (SDO) Organization. The team focuses on building trade data infrastructure to enable the development of best-in-class risk management and data analytics solutions.
As a Senior Risk Manager Trade Analytics you will directly influence Amazons trade strategy through advanced data analytics and forensic accounting techniques to ensure customs valuation compliance and duty cost optimization.
Key job responsibilities - Develop and implement data analytics models for duty optimization and risk identification - Conduct forensic accounting investigations on trade-related activities - Analyze and determine customs value impacts of various trade elements (assist values royalties etc.) - Create automated solutions for monitoring customs values and tracking duty savings
- Bachelors degree or equivalent - 6 years of compliance audit or risk management experience - Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level - Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship - Experience developing and implementing of standards policies and programs or equivalent
- Masters Degree - Proficiency in SQL and advanced data analysis techniques - Experience in forensic accounting and financial investigations
