RRC is seeking a talented Field Coordinator/Warehouse Coordinator to help us build the future of U.S. energy production from our Austin/Round Rock Texas office. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage daily operations at RRC Warehouse including inventory list sample storage stock field supplies and perishables submit repairs and general housekeeping.
  • Assist field geologist during mobilization and demobilization to project site including loading unloading samples preparing inventory of sample transports and miscellaneous logistics.
  • Review soil/bedrock samples manage laboratory sample chain of custody (COC) and deliver samples to designated destinations (Beyond ET and Outside Laboratories).
  • Coordinate with the engineering design team and staff geologist to collaborate on sample review geologic desktop studies and engineering support.
  • Call in 811 locates and coordinate with locators to clear drill locations. Prepare utility locate spreadsheet and handover to field geologist/lead for field implementation.
  • Coordinate with RRC Fleet Manager to manage RRC geotechnical vehicles. Such as ordering new vehicles rotating lease vehicles periodic inspections and maintenance etc.
  • Inspect vehicles periodically and before/after vehicles return from the project site and prepare records.
  • Perform fieldwork for geotechnical subsurface investigation programs and geophysical surveys under specific work instructions as provided by the engineering staff (travel) as required.
  • Perform other engineering activities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES)

  • Minimum 5 years as a Geologist required
  • B.S in Geology or Geophysics required Masters Preferred
  • Experience with subsurface natural gas and liquids evaluations using multiple data sets and software
  • Demonstrable experience in evaluating multiple large (greater than $1Billion) acquisition opportunities
  • Experienced with geologic software and commercial datasets preferred knowledge of Kingdom software and associated data sources.
  • Knowledge of reservoir engineering assessments and financial models and key inputs
  • Demonstrable experience converting geologic knowledge to commercial action and success
  • Strong analytical and communication skills and be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Highly self-sufficient with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Demonstrated curiosity to look for new and better ways to solve problems related to subsurface energy development
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (oral and written) and able to interact across all levels of the organization
