Job Description
Are you passionate about building modern scalable solutions that support mission-critical work NS2 Mission is looking for a driven and self-motivated Expert Software Developer to support a customers technology modernization effort in Chantilly VA. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and cloud technologies while contributing to a high-impact program in a collaborative environment. This role requires a technically skilled professional with a strong foundation in programming web technologies and API designparticularly RESTful services and data formats like JSON and XML.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with development tools version control systems and database management along with excellent problem-solving abilities and a sharp eye for detail. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential for success in this position.
Required Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Python and proficiency in other programming languages commonly used for API development such as JavaScript () and Java
- Strong understanding of RESTful services and API design principles
- Demonstrated experience working with PKI certificates API Gateway and Amazon Kinesis or SQS
- Practical experience with AWS services including EC2 Lambda CloudWatch and S3
- Hands-on experience using Terraform for infrastructure orchestration
- Excellent debugging and performance optimization skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working within an Agile development environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Position Clearance Requirement:
TS/SCI with an FSP
