Job Description
POSITION : Title I Tutor
This position is contingent upon continued funding from Title I Part A. Employment is limited to the duration of the grant and is subject to renewal of the grant or availability of other funding. The position may be terminated if the funding is not renewed or ceases.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates Degree or equivalent credits required
Bachelors Degree preferred
- Teaching Certification preferred
- Experience providing math and reading instruction at the K - 8 level
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tracking and monitoring of student progress based on implementation of interventions.
Implementation of research based interventions in reading and math.
- Collaboration with general education teachers interventionist and reading specialist to provide intervention tutorial services to students identified as requiring remediation.
- Completion of required paperwork for Title I students as outlined in grant.
- Other duties may be assigned by the building principal or superintendent.
REPORTS TO: Principal
SALARY: $22.02 per hour
