Job Description

Our small mighty and passionate education group is seeking to add to our team. The Barred Academy is a for-profit private education setting serving a neurodiverse population of students in grades one through eight. Our company is currently transitioning to an employee-owned format to be implemented for the 2026 fiscal year. Our teaching position is best-suited for an individual who has a desire to teach 1:1 and small group lessons using systematic and structured methodologies but who is also driven to be creative fluid and flexible in their implementation as they meet individual student needs. Students engage daily in a combination of student-driven work projects collaborative projects and focused small group and 1:1 academics targeted to their specific learning path. We are seeking a teammate that enjoys creatively engaging students in learning opportunities works to inspire engagement and above all enjoys connecting with students in positive and meaningful ways.
