As a Solar Water Farm Assembly Worker you will be instrumental in helping GivePower accomplish ambitious goals by building GivePowers Solar Water Farm products in our warehouse in Austin. You will have the opportunity to work on the manufacturing and assembly of projects that will be deployed around the globe. Your role will be responsible for adhering to the production timeline for GivePowers Solar Water Farms maintaining a high build quality standard and a commitment to continuous improvement. You will be contributing greatly to the level of GivePowers impact firsthand and be an instrumental team member creating sustainable solutions to some of the worlds most pressing challenges.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read and understand engineering drawings process and instrumentation diagrams mechanical assembly drawings wiring schematics and electrical instructions
- Read and follow SOPs and OEM equipment manuals to adhere to best installation practices
- Install inspect commission and troubleshoot electrical and plumbing systems in GivePowers Solar Water Farms
- Provide complete and thorough documentation during assembly and upon completion of each project including inspection calibration commissioning and Final Acceptance Testing
- Work closely with the remote engineering team to provide updates and contribute to continual improvement efforts
- Safely and effectively operate light to medium equipment including hand tools power tools forklift scissor lift and other lifting equipment
- Maintain high levels of workmanship and installation quality
- Closely monitor and document inventory stock takes in real time
- Understand and properly use all issued PPE
- Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned to support overall team success and operational objectives
Required Skills Knowledge and Abilities:
- 3 years in assembly manufacturing
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong focus on providing timely solutions and deliverables
- Experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics
- Basic understanding and experience with electrical (AC/DC) plumbing and control systems
- Experience using ERP systems Procore and inventory management software a plus
- Experience working with Solar batteries welding and/or plasma cutters
- Innovative creative outside-the-box thinking
- Thrives in dynamic environment natural problem solver
- Maintains a positive can-do attitude with growth mindset
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and make things happen
- Experience with Lean manufacturing 5S and Kaizen a plus
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- High school diploma required
Compensation:$20 - $23/Hour
