Duration: August 2025 to May 2026
Salary Range: $2454.00 to $3776.00 bi-weekly based on their experience and level of post-secondary education.
As part of the School of Trades and Apprenticeship and reporting to the Academic Chair of Metals Processing the instructor plans and preparing instructional materials and resources; establishing and managing a positive learning environment; instructing and evaluating students; building and sustaining professional relationships with students colleagues community partners and stakeholders; as well as other related duties.
Specific instructional areas and courses within the program will include related subjects in the full scope of the trades (but not limited to):
The successful incumbent must be willing and able to integrate technology and active student learning techniques into teaching practices.
Education & Experience:
A valid Machinist Red Seal license with related years of work experience.
Preference may be given to candidates with at least three (3) years of related recent work experience at the Journeyperson level.
Professional Skills:
Candidates must clearly demonstrate how they meet these qualifications on their resumes.
Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent. Subject to competition response the minimum qualifications may be raised.
