Job Description

Great Southern Grammar is a vibrant independent Christian co-educational day and boarding school for students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year Twelve. The Role:

This is a full-time position with a five-year tenure commencing 18 August or by negotiation five weeks annual leave and an additional five days leave over Christmas and New Year period.

Great Southern Grammar is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Business Operations to lead the future strategic and business development of the School. Are you a strategic solutions-focused leader with a passion for operational excellence As Head of Business Operations you will be a key member of the senior leadership team responsible for the effective management of the Schools finances administrative and operational services. Your leadership will ensure our schools runs efficiently and align with our vision and mission enabling our educators to focus on delivering exceptional learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage finance HR procurement and facilities operations;
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory health and safety governance and risk policy and compliance;
  • Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement across all business functions; and
  • Collaborate with the Principal and Executive to support strategic planning and school development.

What we are seeking:

  • Proven experience in business operations or business management;
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen;
  • Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills;
  • Proven leadership proactive solutions orientated mindset with a commitment to service excellence; and
  • Experience in the education or non-for-profit section is highly desirable.
