Classification: Municipal Officer Level 5
Agreement: Hobart City Council Enterprise Agreement 2024
Salary range: $119423 per annum 13.5% superannuation.

About the role
This role is a vital part of our City Procurement Team and drives the success of our City. In this role you will lead and support our contract management activities ensuring excellence and efficiency in every project.
Role accountabilities include:
- Lead and improve contract management processes and systemsto drive value for money.
- Provide expert advice and supportto staff and stakeholders on contract issues helping them manage contracts effectively and solve problems.
- Monitor and report on contract performance and risks using data to guide decisions and improve outcomes.
- Manage complex and high-risk contracts ensuring they meet legal financial and performance standards.
- Build contract management capability across the City including training communication and supporting continuous improvement.

About you
We are looking for an applicant with a Degree in Law Procurement Business Economics or a related field along with at least 5 years of experience in contract management.
If you have a positive attitude enjoy working in a friendly team environment and excel in high-volume work settings with great attention to detail this role could be perfect for you.
