Job Description
Department: Mental Health / Psychiatry
Location: Kuwait
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Psychiatrist to join our mental health team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating emotional behavioural and developmental disorders in children and adolescents. The psychiatrist should be proficient in both Arabic and English and female candidates are strongly preferred for this role due to cultural and patient needs.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assess diagnose and treat psychiatric conditions in children and adolescents.
-Develop individualized treatment plans including psychotherapy and/or medication management.
-Collaborate with pediatricians psychologists social workers teachers and families.
-Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
-Educate families about the childs condition and promote mental health awareness.
Requirements:
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
-Female candidates are preferred
