Job Description
Position Title: Onsite Network Support Technician (Retainer-Based)
Location: San Jose
Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Network Support Technician with hands-on experience in Cisco and Meraki technologies to provide as-needed onsite support in San Jose CA.
You will work under the direction of a lead technician assisting with ongoing networking tasks and data center operations. The position is ideal for a dependable and independent technician seeking a long-term flexible engagement.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide hands-on onsite technical support

Troubleshoot and maintain Cisco switches routers Meraki devices and related IT infrastructure

Assist in configuring and migrating data from a Dell 380 to a Dell 1200T storage system

Support two Cisco switches connected to enterprise storage and servers

Collaborate with the lead technician on task execution and project initiatives

Provide support for network and data center hardware as requested (day or night shifts may be needed)
Required Qualifications:

In-depth experience with Cisco networking equipment and Meraki devices

Hands-on experience with Dell SAN storage systems

Ability to work independently while following technical direction

Availability for both standard and off-hours support
