Develop and review landscape and urban design concepts integrated with large-scale infrastructure projects such as bridges, roads, and associated facilities.
Ensure aesthetic continuity between structural elements and surrounding environment, with a focus on visual impact, user experience, and ecological balance.
Prepare and/or review design drawings, planting schemes, irrigation layouts, hardscape details, and material specifications.
Contribute to environmental impact assessments by proposing sustainable planting strategies, erosion control, and green infrastructure solutions.
Coordinate with urban planners, civil engineers, architects, and environmental consultants to ensure cross-disciplinary design integration.
Support site supervision by reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, and conducting site visits during the implementation phase.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution.
Previous experience in an engineering consultancy firm is required.
Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in transportation corridors, urban infrastructure, and context-sensitive design.
Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, SketchUp, and GIS; knowledge of BIM is an advantage.
Understanding of sustainable landscape practices, native plant use, and regional climate considerations.
