Job Description

The Lower Pioneer Valley Educational Collaborative (LPVEC) is seeking a Carpentry Teacher to begin employment for the 2023-2024 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to provide instruction and training in Carpentry at Lower Pioneer Valley Career and Technical Education Center.*Provide all instruction and training necessary to provide the necessary learning experiences to qualify students for placement in entry-level positions.*Manage student behaviors both individually and in groups.*Establish and maintain partnerships with parents industry and the community and encourage participation in program.*Assure compliance with regulations of all state and local governing contracting agencies.*Instruction and training of high school students in the Carpentry program necessary to guarantee the quantity and quality of learning experiences to qualify these students for entry level positions in local business and/or continued education.
