Job Description
Functions on a nursing care team with a staff nurse as the team leader by carrying out the basic patient care in accordance with the philosophy objectives standards of care procedures of the hospital and plan of care established by the registered nurse. Indirect patient care activities focus on maintaining the environment in which patient care is delivered. Requires state certification.
Regulatory Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited CNA program.
- Current state Certified Nursing Assistant certification within state of Colorado.
- Experience with Medical Terminology.
- Current BLS certification.
Language Skills:
- Able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Skills:
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Strong communication skills
