Personal Lines Producer - Onsite in North Wales PA - base uncapped commission
Job Description:
A Personal Lines Producer is responsible for generating new business opportunities and managing existing client accounts in the personal lines insurance sector. The role involves selling insurance products to individuals and families understanding their needs recommending appropriate coverage and providing ongoing customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Prospect generate and qualify leads for personal lines insurance policies including auto home renters and umbrella insurance.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
- Build and maintain a client pipeline ensuring consistent follow-ups and closing of sales.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients insurance needs and offer customized solutions.
- Provide quotes answer questions and educate clients on available options.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Review and update client accounts periodically to ensure appropriate coverage as their needs change.
- Offer additional insurance products based on client needs and life events (e.g. new home marriage children).
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
Policy Management:
- Assist clients with policy changes renewals and claims processes.
- Ensure proper documentation is collected processed and maintained in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide excellent post-sale service including policy review coverage explanation and assisting with claims.
Industry Knowledge & Compliance:
- Stay informed on industry trends products and regulations to provide accurate information to clients.
- Adhere to all relevant laws regulations and ethical standards governing insurance sales.
Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with underwriters claims adjusters and other internal teams to ensure smooth policy issuance and claims handling.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions with clients and prospects ensuring compliance with company systems and processes.
- Meet or exceed performance metrics as defined by management.
Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience in the personal lines insurance industry or a related field.
- Valid insurance producer license in the state of operation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and close sales.
- Knowledge of personal lines insurance products (auto home renters etc.) and the underwriting process.
- Ability to assess client needs and recommend appropriate coverage.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent customer service abilities.
- Proficient in using insurance software CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
