Join the Manufacturing Engineering group in the Lockheed Martin Sensor Integration and Test Center. A Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for translating complex engineering blueprints and parts lists into easy to follow all-encompassing work instructions for the mechanics/assemblers on the production floor. You will be tasked with improving the overall process of the build using complex cutting edge technologies and automation. You will exercise your technical background to solve complex problems with troubleshooting and new development of processes for ever changing products being built in our factory.
Other job functions include RCCA Lean Six Sigma improvement efforts as well as developing process improvements in order to lower cost increase quality and deliver a better repeatable product faster.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Aerospace Mechanical Manufacturing Materials Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a Security clearance.
Desired Skills:
Experience writing technical work instructions
Able to work in a cross function teaming environment
Detailed knowledge of GD&T
SAP Experience
Knowledge of LEAN Six Sigma manufacturing concepts and techniques
CREO/ProE experience with a focus on tool design
Experience working with electro-mechanical and/or optical assemblies
Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Work Schedules:Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
