Calo is an app providing personalized meal plans for busy people through nutritional algorithms built with love by chefs nutritionists and software engineers.

Launched in Bahrain in 2019 we have since expanded to 6 countries in the region delivered millions of meals to our customers and launched our very own Grab & Go Cafe concepts.

Role Overview
Were looking for a Senior Brand & Creative Content Manager to join Calos central marketing team. This hybrid role blends high-level brand strategy with creative leadership. You will be responsible for shaping and evolving Calos brand identity across multiple countries verticals and product lines ensuring that everything we produce from campaigns to visuals to content reflects our mission to make healthy easy. If youre equally comfortable brainstorming a killer brand campaign and directing its content and assets production this could be the role for you.

Main Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Custodianship

  • Continuously develop and refine Calos brand identity voice and messaging to ensure consistency across all platforms verticals and regions
  • Evolve the brand guidelines and collaborate with local marketing teams to adapt for cultural nuances while maintaining a unified brand presence
  • Oversee brand awareness and equity initiatives measuring success through brand health metrics and customer feedback and insights

Content Marketing & Winning Big in Events

  • We want you to dream up content and event engagement that puts Calo on everyones radar. It could be short-form videos or epic long-form pieces a quirky podcast or something totally off the wall whatever grabs attention and keeps people talking about Calo. Youll lead these projects from idea to launch work with local teams to bring them to life and continuously measure whats working so we can do more of it. Our main goal Generate buzz build brand love and keep Calo front and center wherever our audience hangs out.

Creative Leadership & Execution

  • Lead the creation and execution of high-impact campaigns and communications including visuals copy and integrated marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with in-house and external content creators and agencies to produce engaging content that resonates with Calos values and audiences
  • Set high standards for design storytelling and brand experiences. Be the go-to person for creative approvals across multiple verticals (Calo Core Retail Kids etc.)

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with local MP GMs product teams and food teams to align brand strategies with overall business goals
  • Partner with PR and media relations teams to ensure consistent messaging and strong brand representation in public channels
  • Introduce and champion systems processes and modes of cooperation that elevate our decentralized marketing model ensuring alignment across all MPs

Ideal Candidate

  • Strategic but Hands-On: Able to develop big-picture brand strategies and execute them with tangible creative outputs
  • Customer-Obsessed: Takes time to understand user behaviors motivations and pain points and translates them into remarkable brand experiences
  • Proven Track Record: Has led cross-functional brand or creative teams managed large-scale campaigns and maintained brand consistency across multiple channels
  • Strong Communicator & Collaborator: Skilled at working with diverse stakeholders local GMs product leads external agencies and aligning them around a shared brand vision
  • Ownership Mindset: Views challenges as opportunities remains resilient under pressure and embodies Calos mission to make healthy easy
  • Culture Builder: Promotes a culture of innovation teamwork and performance
