Job Description

Role:Pre-Sales Consultant - Cloud

Location:Mumbai


Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Collaborate with the sales team to identify and engage with potential clients understanding their specific business needs and challenges.
  • Technical Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of cloud solutions tailored to address client requirements.
  • Solution Design: Work closely with clients to design customized cloud architectures and solutions that align with their business objectives ensuring scalability performance and security.
  • Proposal Development: Assist in the creation of proposals and RFP (Request for Proposal) responses detailing technical aspects and value propositions of cloud solutions.
  • Proof of Concept: Lead and coordinate proof of concept (PoC) initiatives by setting up demonstrations or trials of cloud services to showcase capabilities and garner client confidence.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends competitive landscape and emerging cloud technologies to provide informed insights to clients and influence product development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering product management and other internal teams to communicate client feedback and requirements and ensure delivery aligns with expectations.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients acting as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process and beyond.
  • Training and Enablement: Provide training and technical knowledge transfer to the sales team regarding cloud solutions features and best practices.
  • Post-Sales Support: Engage with clients following the sale to ensure successful implementation and to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
  • Experience: 8 years of experience in a pre-sales role cloud computing or a related field such as IT consulting or technical sales.
  • Certifications: Relevant cloud certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are advantageous. Knowledge on Private Cloud and Public Cloud preferably MS Azure is mandatory.


Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies including IaaS PaaS and SaaS.
  • Familiarity with cloud service providers (AWS Azure GCP) and their respective offerings.
  • Knowledge of related technologies such as networking databases security and virtualization.


Soft Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence others.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric mindset.
